Kalevala Barrel Aged Gin

Production and ingredients

Our barrel aged gin is a yearly limited release which will develop over the years. The base gin for this is our Blue Label which is aged for between 6-9 months after distillation.

The number and origin of the casks will vary from year to year, making for a unique experience in every vintage.

Tasting notes
As it has to be - the juniper stands still sturdy at the center. It’s surrounded by citrus notes and a light ginger touch in the background. The palate has a warm and elegant entry, the cask maturation has imparted a subtle vanilla note to the gin. However, the
spirit is not overwhelmed by our Runoi Rum Cask.
