At Kalevala Distillery, every drop of gin is made by hand using pure Finnish spring water and carefully selected botanicals. Honest, local and full of character — the spirit of Kalevala.

Kalevala Ruby Gin

  • Ruby Gin builds on the same carefully distilled base as our Kitee Dry Gin, rooted in juniper and Jerusalem artichoke, and takes it in a richer, more expressive direction. After distillation, the spirit is gently macerated with cranberry and bilberry for two weeks, allowing natural colour, soft fruit acidity, and a subtle Nordic sweetness to develop.

    The result is a vibrant yet balanced gin where fresh berries complement the dry, earthy structure of the base spirit. Ruby Gin is elegant and versatile, equally at home in refined cocktails or enjoyed simply with tonic, offering depth, colour, and a distinctly Northern character.

  • Aromatic and inviting on the nose with fresh cranberry, ripe bilberry, and a hint of juniper beneath. The palate is smooth and balanced, where bright berry acidity and gentle sweetness rest on an earthy, dry base, finishing with a soft, warming Nordic character.

Kalevala Kitee Dry Gin

  • Juniper takes the lead with clarity and confidence, while local Jerusalem artichoke provides its roots, lending a distinctive earthiness and gentle warmth that bring depth and balance to the clean, dry finish.

  • Bright and expressive on the nose with clear juniper, fresh citrus, and a hint of spice. The palate is dry and structured, where bold juniper is grounded by the earthy warmth of Jerusalem artichoke, leading into a long, clean, and gently warming finish.

GNISH by Kalevala

  • At its core is Jerusalem artichoke, giving subtle depth and structure to a balanced, botanical profile. Designed to be enjoyed with classic mixers or on its own, GNISH offers a tasteful, gin-like experience for moments when you want flavour without the strength.

  • Fresh and balanced on the nose with gentle juniper, soft citrus, and an earthy undertone from Jerusalem artichoke. On the palate it is crisp and dry, with layered botanicals and a clean, refreshing finish that works equally well with mixers or enjoyed on its own.
